CEO, VP of Products and Engineering
Rajesh Unadkat is co-founder of Aruvio and serves as Aruvio’s CEO, VP of Products and Engineering. Rajesh is responsible for corporate direction, product vision and strategy, and business development. Prior to founding Aruvio, Rajesh worked at Agiliance where he held leading roles as software architect, product manager, and off-shore development team manager. Rajesh had joined Agiliance in the very early stage and played a key role in growing Agiliance revenue from $0 to $5M-plus, and increasing the customer base from zero to 40-plus. As off-shore development team manager, Rajesh opened Agiliance’s first off-shore development center in India and grew it to 30-plus employees within two years. As product manager, Rajesh defined and delivered three major product releases with new applications and functionality that expanded Agiliance’s reach in new target markets, and helped Agiliance achieve the highest possible Gartner MarketScope rating for its products.
Previously, Rajesh held technical and management leadership positions at AOL, LoudCloud/Opsware, and Healteon/WebMD. Rajesh has over twenty years experience successfully bringing new products to market in the areas of information security, cloud computing, compliance, enterprise software, SaaS services, and large-scale software infrastructure. Rajesh holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana, at Lafayette, and a BS in Computer Engineering from the Gujarat University, India. Rajesh is a 2012 Fellow in the Startup Leadership Program of the Silicon Valley Chapter.
Palaniswamy “Raj” Rajan serves as the Aruvio’s Chairman. Palaniswamy “Raj” Rajan co-founded Virima Technologies and serves as the company’s Chairman & CEO. With more than 20 years experience in the technology industry, Rajan has a deep understanding of current technologies and has the ability to articulate the application of these technologies in various business contexts and models. A highly versatile and proven entrepreneur, Rajan also founded Vigilar, Inc, a leading information security and compliance technology firm; eLaunchpad, LLC, an early stage venture capital firm/incubator focusing on Internet infrastructure and network security technologies; and Emerald Systems, a boutique technology consulting firm. During his tenure at Vigilar, he grew annual revenues to $32M from 2000 to 2005, during the most difficult technology industry climate. Another previous success, financial aggregator VerticalOne was sold to S1 in 1999 in a deal valued at $166 million.
Rajan previously served on the Board of Directors for Vigilar, currently serves on the Board of Directors of Virima and serves on the advisory boards of several early stage technology firms around the country. A leader in the business community, he is involved in several professional and community organizations. Rajan was instrumental in establishing the Atlanta CEO High Tech Council, where he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, and he co-founded and serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE). Rajan was honored as Georgia Trend’s “40 Under 40″ Rising Stars in 2000. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Director of Engineering
Reddy Rachamallu is a co-founder of Aruvio and serves as Director of Engineering. Reddy is responsible for research, design, and development of all Aruvio’s products and next-generation cloud-based GRC solutions. In this role, he works with customers to understand their issues and requirements, collaborates with the company’s product management, sales and consulting organizations, and determines functionality requirements and priorities for new products and solutions. Prior to Aruvio, Reddy was a founding team member of Agiliance, where he held a key role as software architect and development manager and helped shape the Agiliance product into one of the best in the GRC marketplace.
Previously, Reddy held architecture and development manager roles at ArcSight, a leading provider of security event correlation and reporting, which was acquired by HP. Reddy has over twenty years of software industry experience working in various disciplines such as information security, compliance, enterprise software, SaaS services, and large-scale software infrastructure at both startups as well as larger corporations such as HP, Impresse, and Tandem. Reddy holds an MS in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and a BS in Computer Science from JNTU, India.
Robert brings to Aruvio over 25 years of senior-level executive experience in general management, sales and marketing, business development, and services at large public companies and start-ups, with his most recent 14 years spent in Enterprise IT Security. He has raised four rounds of VC funding and sold several companies. He currently advises security startups with their go to market, fundraising and M&A strategies. Notable engagements include UPEK -now AAPL-, OpenTrust –now DocuSign-, FugenSolutions -now 8KMiles-, and Marvin Mobile Security -now Veracode-. Robert was VP Worldwide Technical Services at Check Point, responsible for its $55M service business. More recently he was the CEO and co-founder of Cyphort (APT prevention) and raised its first round of funding from a top tier Silicon Valley VC firm. Prior positions include CEO of Solsoft (now BLOX), a network security policy management company, and VP Mktg and Business Development at Imera, a secure collaboration company. Robert also held a variety of high-level product marketing and technical services management positions at Dassault Systems, Hitachi and IBM. He holds a MS degree in Engineering from MIT and is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris, France.
Director of Sales
Joe Wilson is the Director of Sales for Aruvio which automates, simplifies and dramatically enhances their clients’ risk, compliance and governance management, simply and afford-ably.
Joe was Vice President of BellSouth Divisions including BellSouth Information Systems. He was a regional sales director for security focused IP networking firms and the leader of his own sales and marketing consultancy for over a decade. He also served as the chairman for the DeKalb Technical College Foundation and as a sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Joe has an MBA from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL.
